Sounds like an important agreement to me also.

Can you tell me in what way Bell Atlantic can possibly benefit from this deal, short term? Only thing I can see, is they are throwing one the FCCs way to prove they are interested in competition. Although it's competition on the other side of the CO, it's clearly a compromise by Bell Atlantic.

I can see this leading other places strategically for Bell Atlantic. Can you provide your opinions on what you think of this deal.

Where is New Jersey in this mix? It seems to have been left out of the press release, if not the agreement.

They've agreed to enter trials, but I see no date for widespread deployment. Is this just another promise without substance by BA?

I'll wait before I agree with you that this is a "blockbuster".
