Mike:

Did you ever purchase additional puts on Chuckie when it was running away or did you stick with originals June 60's i thought?

It appears that BOJ supports your prediction for lower interest rates. At least that is how I read it. They sold yen and bought dollars presumably in for the form of US treasuries. yes/no ?

It would seem that either they have been given a nudge ,wink/wink at the cpi numbers coming out on wednesday or they are absolute nuts to place that big a bet 2days ahead of cpi data. what you think ?

Finally, I never understood how encouraging capital outflows ever helped a nations standard of living or its recovery. If this were a company(japan inc) and employees were paid in stock(yen), and management(boj) was actively seeking to lower its stock price, you would have to wonder whats wrong with waldo. imho

Mike,

What typically happens with puts the next day after a good-sized drop in the stock? I mean, is there sometimes a delay on the rise in volatility and the premium?

Given that SCH is presently down over 12 today, I am a little disappointed with the sluggishness of my LEAP 40s of 2000.

Any advice?
