Ynot, 3 months is not quite enough. I think they will develop less volatile trading ranges after their bottoms have been hit and the wind removed from the Internet sails. . . and it will take until perhaps October, before we catch wind enough to start seeing the sort of gains that make jumping in early worth while. In the long term, that will prove, IMO, to be the best move.

Those waiting to see a clear bottom will miss it entirely. There will not be an article coming out in any paper saying "Inets have bottomed". . . we must pick our own bottoms, based on TA, history, improvements in earnings and current or pending deals, which may improve the picture for particular issues.

Expect to see High-Tech High Fliers like INTC, LU, CSCO, etc. take off by the Fourth of July. Looking for bargains on those even now, in anticipation of a mid-July 'summer rally' as many such issues head into earnings week again. ATHM, DCLK, YHOO, AOL and AMZN in the same boat, as I recall.

Perhaps someone can make a list of those such issues expecting to release earnings in July.
