Hi Panita...i own 100 shares of @home, presplit that is...

i am probably not the best to ask on this stock...my basic reason is that i believe zillions of people will want to be on the 'net and prefer cable access...secondly, i like ATT's participation - its kind of like a seal of approval for me...thirdly, some excite shareholders, whether personally or thru institutions, may have sold when the merger occurred, either because they didn't like @home or they had it already and didn't want to double up...

short squeezes are always possible, but if you own it already, i'd think it best to keep it and enjoy the ride...this is my only internet stock and only U.S. 'long' now...

oh yes, mutuals may have to sell...if there is a run on redemptions...
they may have no choice...i don't know how they choose what to sell, but this could be a factor...
