CB, what makes you think AOL is bottoming now? I don't see any technical signal yet. The resistance line is currently at 107(close above for first buy signal). Down volume still killing up-volume. MACD still points south. Moving averages obviously still show no positive crossovers. Stochoastics do show a buy signal, but they have for 2 weeks, now. The first real support level is 88, depending on whether the funds decide to hold that level or take some more money off the table. Below, the 200dma at 78.
CPI still holding high PE stocks down until after Wednesday. Fed meeting at the end of month. Options expiry on Friday. Negative comments re AOL Europe. AOL needs weak inflation news or great AOL news to turn the boat around.
Picking bottoms and tops is impossible.
