what the fear mongers don't tell you is they are normally on the other side of the trade..........lee just posted a whole bunch of links to show the good the fed has done in keeping the economy healthy...this is a recent responsibility taken on by the fed...economy grew for many years in the fifties with no fed intervention, inflation didn't come into play until the vietnam "war, which created a whole lot of debt....i believe we exist again in a 50's type economy...the fed by raising rates can induce inflation..rather live in "prosperity" with a heated but low inflation economy, then in a recession....

anyhow...just read that msft,sunw,cpq,aol,ibm in conjunction with visa,mastercard and amex are developing a new technical format called "ecml" (electronic commerce modeling language)with an intent to standardize e-commerce transactions...
