Hi Steve,

Just caught an interview on CNBC with Chris(?) Farrell, who has a new book out called "Day Trading On Line". He is in agreement with you that the NYSE is far more fair than the NASDAQ. He likes to buy at the bid, sell at the ask, earn the same differential the market maker does. Always uses limit orders. Dislikes the volatility of Nasdaq. Is certain that anyone daytrading super-volatile NASDAQ rockets with market orders will eventually auger in. Sees significant slow down in day trading currently, did not predict future levels of activity. His fund was up 65% last year on 1/16s and 1/8s. Believes $50K is absolute minimum starting capital for starting to trade. Says many others recommend $75K as more likely to succeed.
Says the greater your starting capital, the greater the chance for investment success. (Aside: This was also certainly true in the building biz, which I was in.)

That was about it. Oh, he looked kinda relaxed for a day trader....

Best, Ry
