Steve,

I am a lurker trying my best to keep up with all the excellent posts. You guys can type faster than I can read.

A question for you or anyone .....

Liquidity has long been considered a driving force for the bull market and the reverse effect may be true now. Do you have any source that will give us an indicator as to how much margin debt is out there and how many margin calls are made by SCH, etrade and others today?

Could be "buy on dippers" be out of money to buy anything this round?

Do you believe that margin debt is part of the new paradigm that can influence trading patterns? If yes, how do you take it into account in daytrading?

Ramsey

ps A word of thanks to Eric for starting a great thread and setting the proper tone.
