Pooh ... and I mean that literally ... on AOL. I am "long" on this one and don't consider an 8 1/2 point one day drop as a couple points (especially when it was 175) :((

Sorry about the puts tanking so much, I did not expect them to tank quite that much.. I stopped shorting AOL (buying puts) last week.. But as I said when OJ talked about the short fall on EPAY and the fact that EBAY had a breakdown on their website during the weekend and the shortfall in CMGI led me to believe it had much downside left. (by the way ADLAC (Adelphia service) has been horrendous this week and thank G-d for AT & T services, and ADLAC too has been on a downswing since then (over 10 points) so I take breakdowns in services, whether web related or cable, of companies that are not earning any money yet quite seriously).

I will be back on Wednesday afternoon, and I missed everyone so much that I missed a trek to the Bahamas only because I refused to be out of range... I have so much 'radar' equipment (Reuters MarketClip with the 3Com Professional PDA, A heavy, Cellular phone for out of reach places, AT&T as a back up for MSPG,and the latest best DELL laptop (7,000 series with 96 MB SDRAM) that it is very unlikely I'll be out of range ever again.. (golly we even had radar to show us where the fish were 'hiding out'...)
