I believe that the market is starting to recognize the "internet qualities" of AXC, and thus punishes it together with the rest of the nuts. What seems clear is that for the time being the window of opportunity for an IPO is rapidly closing on this sector. That might have longer term implications on AXC's cash flow or ability to establish a presence in the market, thus one possible reason why the stock is being hammered.

It strikes me as ironic that AXC is to announce
ourselves as a true Internet company on 6/28/99. Meanwhile, on
6/14/99 we are already getting murdered along with the Internet sector.
AXC has never yet reaped the rewards of being considered an internet
stock, yet we sure are subject to the massive correction the sector is experiencing today..............V
