Visited my local CompUSA store this morning. No sales again this week. It's now been three weeks with no real sales (unless they had short term mid-week sales). Customer traffic was very light.

I confirmed from a sales person that DVD movies were dropped. I asked about other locations and he said that they were dropped from many locations. He blamed shrinkage. I asked if this discontinuance was permanent. He said they might get some back in in a couple of weeks (salesman answer of the week).

Maybe a sale starts tomorrow. I hope so. Draw in the customer, then hit them with add on sales. That's the name of the game. I don't understand why they chose to play dead right here at the end of the quarter. How about 10% off everything?! You draw down inventory and bring in the cash.
