I agree, companies on the verge of biting the dust are dangerous.
In fact, GRE deviates from my usual requirement of solid capitalization
when it comes to junior resource companies.

One I really like for the long term that is well capitalized is Metalica (METLF). It has a world class deposit in Mexico, no debt, substantial cash in the bank, and a free ride on a partnership agreement with Cambior. This one is priced dirt cheap and will be around for a long time. I prefer to own juniors that can weather a prolonged storm.

However, GRE is unique in one aspect that makes it a resonable speculation. SUBSTANTIAL PRODUCTION. Even a slight turnaround in the POG will be felt immediatley. Of course, survival is the primary issue.
