If I didn't read about the AOL/GTE demo today, I might agree with you. Imagine with an analog box, 3-4 ISPs on the same cable line with a cost of only $1 per home. AOL/GTE demonstrated that today. And that is what scares the living you know what out of me. Good luck tomorrow, I hope for your sake it does identify a bottom. If it doesn't it's going to get really ugly, really fast. -DavidCG

No, the bottom will be in December. As long as we're predicting: there will likely be a small rally in July which longs can profit from, but they should get ready to dump as soon as things start looking rosy again. The drop coming into y2k will also be a nasty one. ...Art

Davies; ATHM can't bottom before AOL , it's nothing to do with the technology and every thing to do with liquidity. The money caught in the AOL trap is having to make margin calls too, and they also own ATHM. The internut funds don't just play one they play them all, so no bottom is possable until the biggest one stops falling. ---------------- MSFT may be mad at AOL, Steve should have know not to let his man testify for the DOJ, butting heads with MSFT can be dangerous to ones health. Heck Billy boy can wiggle his little finger and have more shorts humping AOL than Steve has hairs on his arse. --------------- I'm not saying that's the case but I'v seen similar in the past. Any way don't look for a bottom till AOL bottoms. I like ATHM and will be buying if she gets to 70. Jim
