I think the slamming of shorts is akin to the dirty look most dice players give to the guy who plays with the house (e.g., on the "Don't Pass" line) at a dice table. It's not like it affects the outcome, but it sure is an irritant to see someone betting on the table to lose. It just cuts against the grain.

I don't recall ever blaming the shorts (or anyone else for that matter) for this or any other stock falling in price. The investors, long and short, have little or nothing to do with it. It is the company, and its value (and perceived value) that dictate the "market" for its stock. If you think you and Auric are "responsible" for this, well, you take the award for the most inflated sense of self-importance of anybody I have ever encountered on an internet message board. My bet is that the reason for this price drop have little or nothing to do with the 144's you have been so kind to draw to our attention, a little to do with the dilution caused by all common stock needed for the preferred stock conversions, something to do with concerns over whether VTS launch will be indefinitely delayed (which appear to be reasonable given the silence of the PHLX, but have yet to be proven) and a fair amount to do with an overall market correction and the bursting of the tech bubble which has hammered stocks far more established than ATG in similar ways. But you and Auric as the "responsible parties"?? Give me a break.
