I make no bones that net sector remains my favorite...but folks, there is compelling evidence to not trade/invest with nets RIGHT NOW from the long side...

posted today on another thread....

ATHM...gets rocked by court decision in Portland

AOL...subscriber growth slowing down or is this a seaonal factor?

CMGI...misses earnings

EBAY...warns of lower earnings due to it site being down for 22+ hours, and again this weekend

Amazon.BOMB....

and didn't DCLK report less than stellar earnings????

YHOO losing market share...

combine this with the general market direction, thinly traded stocks, seasonality factors, CNBC
adding to volatility, further rate increases, japan market imporvement, the fact that many have talked
about the net bubble bursting (market in general), we've been given compelling reasons to reduce
exposure to this sector...

we've talked about this now for months...and now the evidence is overwhelming...

regarding elnk...many here took positions including myself...however my stop triggered a sell, another target to reenter at 45 was immediately dismissed on news that CMGI missed earnings...

again, I reiterate my stop was triggered...

be careful in the world of internuts...

opportunity will happen again, this is an exploding industry still in its infancy stage...we will have major winners...and losers...
