If you shorted 3 months ago you were 1 month too early and had to hold through a 50% gain in the stock. Damn admirable actually.

I hope you are not a month too early here too. Yikes!

I found a little free cash to buy some Jan 2000 100 calls. Nothing left to lose now.

Chris,

The only way I can see going long on nets now is if earning season were upon us and these nets showed phenomenal growth.

Also, summer is typically slower for nets..people get out of the computer room/den and go outdoors to enjoy the sunshine.

ATHM doesn't report until mid-July

That's a lot of time to whistle dixie.

Chris,

Good for you if you are successfully timing the
market. I would like to ask you who was posting
the garbage that has you making the above statement?
The @Home SI board is slanted towards the positive
by some (I'm probably guilty of some) but I would
like to think this group is a little more grounded
than what you state. Did it really happen that way
or are you just giddy because of what you perceive
as your superior timing? I believe that most of
the folks who blow in here to tell all of us dolts
how they have prospered in the past week then leave
will be eventual victims of their own guesswork.

It's not just you. I don't believe that timing these
things leads to long-term gains.
