Michelle if we will ignore the stock price the EBAY business model is more profitable as EBAY are BROKERS and as we know BROKERS always make money as long as sales take place.

As to AMZN they are loosing their shirt in their business model, and are better capitalized just because there are suckers out there who are willing to fund their debt. Most of the short position in AMZN are a result of those debt issues as an hedge. Those not fully hedged will not see a penny from their debt.

It is true that AMZN now tries to be everything just because they realized that from selling books money will not be made to the bottom line <GGGG>

As to the stock price well it compares only in history books <GGGG>
