The first thing that comes to mind is shorting. The volume was very light until the afternoon when it moved through 48 1/2. I'll wager the short sellers were pushing the price down to trigger limits and reap the benefits tomorrow.
Anyone else have theory?

Siebel's very high P/E make its price susceptible to lots of conditions. Monday was a crappy tech day. I think SEBL's decrease was attributed to general market conditions. +/- 8% in a day should be expected with this stock.
