How can you expect the stock to drop to $3.00 when book value (after a loss of say .30/share this qtr.) should be about $2.65 and cash per share is higher than that? Check out last qtr's balance sheet.

I share you frustration with the havoc the the current price war has wrought. There has to be some consolidation in this industry. MXTR would greatly enhance the value of QNTM's drive business and and the two should merge IMHO. The merger would give the combined entity the strength to deal with IBM and SEG. Yes the combined entity might not retain all the market share that the sum of the two separate entities now possess, however share in this market is not all it is cracked up to be.

Boy; I sure hope you are right. I would love to buy MXTR at $3 tommorrow. Should be able to make a profit off that in a reasonable time with little invested.
