Act One, straight ahead, indeed.

The back line players have won today. I'll give them their due. Even a cold table can turn on a dime though, so, we'll see.

Apparently there is news out on DJ newswire commenting on stock price of ASTN. I don't have a link for Dow Jones but I do have the link to the post on Yahoo! message board where I found it.

=DJ Ashton Tech Dn 20%; CFO Says Can't Explain Decline

Dow Jones News Service via Dow Jones

PALO ALTO, Calif. (Dow Jones)--Ashton Technology Group Inc. (ASTN) shares fell
20% Monday, and the company said it is unaware of what caused the stock's fall
as there haven't been any new announcements.

Chief Financial Officer Art Bacci said he doesn't have a comment for why the
stock is down, adding that the stock is still up around 400% from its 52-week
low of 1 3/32.

As for an Individual Investor Online article describing cash flow problems at
the Philadelphia Internet company, Bacci said the story is incorrect because
Ashton isn't suffering a cash crunch, as will be further detailed when earnings
are released in two weeks.

He didn't attribute the stock's weakness, however, to the article.

There are no securities analysts who follow the stock.

Shares of Ashton Tech fell 1 7/8, to 7 9/16 on volume of 3.9 million, compared
with average daily volume of 1.4 million. That's up from its 52-week low, but
also below its 52-week high of 18 set May 24. The stock fell 16% Friday to 9
7/16.
