$5 million is not the full story. EBAY is suffering from repercussions of the outage. They have lost customers, their auction count is down 20% in 1 week, and not coincidentally AMZN's auction count is up 40% in that time.

Of course, you have the overall net sell off. If you were to graph EBAY YHOO and AMZN's auction growth, you would be seeing an inflection from EBAY as the leader to YHOO and AMZN in growth rate even before the outage.

40 points and $5 million is not the full story.
