Orlando,
I commend you for your truthfulness. I also commend you for refraining from fear mongering hoping it will result in monetary gain at the expense of others.

Best Regards,
Tom

Orlando,

I am truly happy for you if you are making money. After all, we are all in this endeavor to improve our lives, going either short or long. What I detest is some people actually displaying pleasure at other's misery.

I feel very strongly about this since I read an article in Money mag about an elderly lady whose stock went down from over $300 K to about $35 K in a matter of days. This was about the international crisis last year (circa Aug. '98). The stock was Telebras. The most disturbing aspect of this story was that she had lost her will to live.

This story has impacted me a great deal, so I do take personal to extremely insensitive people. Fortunately, you are not one of them.

AOL will rebound nicely. I have followed this stock through the years, and though it has been beaten down so many times, it has always gone to newer highs.

Good luck to you and all others,

Tar
