I suspected as much. Good luck with the suit.

A couple of thoughts occur to me (it's a rare event but it does happen now and then<g>)

Are there any issues that arise from their suing an Italian resident in the US courts? I understand your residence in Italy has been on the order of twenty years, so it could hardly be considered temporary.

There is a temptation to laugh off these lawsuits as silly annoyances since their arguements appear, at least to us, inane. But all lawsuits are serious. Given previous posts by certain individuals that more lawsuits were coming and the referenced comment thanking the 'substanial assistance received from various persons' it certainly appears that there is an organized group that is attempting to target you and others. This is my opinion only but it would appear their goal is to tie you up in SLAPP suits and thereby silence you. This is a direct attack on freedom of speech. Have you thought of contacting the ACLU?

Exactly. The truth has a way of surfacing, sometimes it takes a while.

That comment in the HITT PR about all the help they got was very, very interesting.

I support you fully, Janice.

My cousin does too.
