He didn't attribute the stock's weakness, however, to the article. There are no securities analysts who follow the stock. Shares of Ashton Tech fell 1 7/8, to 7 9/16 on volume of 3.9 million, compared with average daily volume of 1.4 million. That's up from its 52-week low, but also below its 52-week high of 18 set May 24.
