I have little use for people who dress up in fancy robes and calculate holidays via lunar cycles -- whoops, that's the Pope -- or Wiccans either. It seems obvious that we must either stamp out all religion, or let all religions however ridiculous thrive as best they can. Religious leaders are often crooks and swindlers -- Koresh, Jim Jones, Jim Bakker, Pat Robertson, --you can name the rest of them. I think a person who needs god would do well to find is own, not pick one out of the yellow pages or off TV. The first step is to learn to love yourself. To fix what's wrong with you as best you can, and to love some other people. I am still learning how to do this. I don't think I have time or patience to throw the burden on some imaginary being who must be very busy with those who seek her help.
