MSFT will roll out a service that pushes stock quotes, sports reports and other information to pagers and digital phones. Microsoft's MSN Mobile ultimately will be broadened to other wireless devices and additional data including electronic mail, said Yusuf Mehdi, marketing director in the software giant's consumer and commerce group. "out of the money July calls"
they are expensive--considering microsoft's lack of volatility recently.
i am short the july 100 covered.

I did not work out the volatility on the July out of the money calls but the quotes I have seen for the July 80s, 85s etc don't appear to be expensive. For example, the 80s are just 3 and 85s are 1 1/2.
Factor in the recent selloff in the high tech stocks, you could make a strong case for a bounce back when earnings comes around. I still don't feel comfortable with short term out of the money calls--maybe another 2 weeks at current prices might be the opportunity i am looking for. If the stock goes down to about 76 (in the next couple of days), then it might be a good time to go long on the 80s and 85s---otherwise i feel better off with the 70s (especially since the stock has not moved much).
