Katherine,

Many people may not like your post but I was thinking the same thing. We will have to see what this qtr brings. I am very long TLAB and love it long term but short term everything has been going right for TLAB. I just what bump in the road we are going to hit.

Lets hope none but there have been many in the past.

Mike

"In short, every analyst on the planet loves TLAB. Sounds like time to
sell to me!!
If these guys are so smart, why ain't they rich?"

Well lets see the Company or the Individuals??
Company is sitting on 800 million cash-
Birck (Chairman) is worth over 2 billion-
Top management ranges from from 10 million to over 100 million
What's rich to you???

With all the respect that you deserve lady, I personally thinks that you are a pessimist, that is define as a tendency to judge things negative despite of the positive outlook. The reason why all analyst love Tellabs is the same reason we have, FUNDAMENTALS, FUTURE GROWTH, EARNINGS, PRODUCTS, etc. So I think that next time you bring a negative and discouraging comments, please bring facts that support it, "guts feelings" doesn't move the market, but facts does. But I'm sure all of us will appreciate your comments if you can support it.

Katherine most assuredly DID recommend selling, and I quote:

"In short, every analyst on the planet loves TLAB. Sounds like time to sell to me!!

If these guys are so smart, why ain't they rich?

Katherine"

Excuse me, isn't this the same Katherine who denies saying that she advised selling now------it's amazing what having "written evidence" can do in a "case"---perhaps, that is why we sign contracts instead of go according to oral agreements.

Katherine said it was time to sell-----unless we all fall for "Clintonspeak"-----trying to sound the contrarian she wanted be the Elaine Garzarelli of the board and call the downturn in Tellabs---unfortunately on the close of the 14th of June, the date that Katherine said: "In short, every analyst on the planet loves TLAB. Sounds like time to sell to me!!---Tellabs closed at about 57----that means that since Katherine sent out the "sell signal" the stock has risen 11 points----that means all you poor people out here who would have listened to her would have missed making 19.2% on your money.

Please check her earlier post.

Katherine---reread post #5638 where you advise selling about 19.2% ago on Tellabs------boy, if we had listened to you, we would have missed one of the quarterly "major moves" in the stock.

Is there something I didn' understand in your statement in post #5638 in which you said:

Did I miss something here??? No emoticons, so it couldn't have been sarcastic. And the word sell still means "sell" doesn't it---or are you engaging in "Clintonspeak"?

**OT to joelj**

On June 14, I posted a comment to the effect that the herd mentality evident in TLAB's positive analyst recommendations perhaps indicated a sell signal. On that day, the stock closed at 58 3/16.

There then followed pages and pages of personal abuse, questioning my intelligence, questioning the stock-picking acumen of women in general, and suggesting that I was deliberately trying to manipulate the stock price.

Meanwhile, TLAB rose to a high of 74 on July 16, then fell like a rock, closing at 60 7/16 today.

I am still holding, will continue to do so, and sincerely hope the stock recovers rather than breaking below 60. But I really do feel that an apology is appropriate at this point. Preferably a public one, given that the original abuse was dispensed publicly.

My sincere apologies to the rest of the group for dragging this whole mess out again. Unfortunately, the individual in question's profile does not allow private messages.
