dennis,

If I were looking and being more involved in the nets I would short a rally of any size, and get the names that are in trouble.. the ones that were down the largest in points in the session... AOL, EBAY, DCLK, PCLN. Notice that the internets that did not deserve the run-up they received are slowly retracing, HLTH, PCLN, IVIL, SEEK etc. There are a few stocks that acted better than others today. I liked how ATHM turned positive mid day when the others shook off the retrace up and continued down.

I also saw the analyst that mentioned that the nets were finished. You know what that reminded me of? Well last year when we were all here talking of a DOW 6500 (Ralphie). That was indeed the best entry point I have seen. Also when Japan was in the tank it was time. I think we are getting close to that time. EBAY will return, so will CMGI( their losses were due to down draft in the nets). Also the more I hear about AMZN's plans, the more I want to add at these levels.

AOL? Notice I did not mention them. If the stock were to hit my magical target of 75 (not so much a long shot anymore) The PE is still 150-160. If this continues the stock can see 50. Shocking? Yes, possible??? yes..

I am glad I went away for a few days, the action on the thread reminded me of a time that I want to forget. I wish everyone well..
