Re: Medical Center

How about it?! First time I drove past Rice on the way to the Natural History Museum off Fannin, I was dumbstruck. Two or three blocks of medical facilities! Unbelievable.

For a differing opinion:

Yes, Texas and Houston have a lot going for them. But I'd leave Houston in a minute if I could match my salary elsewhere. You've heard of "golden handcuffs" perhaps? Houston is like any big city - drugs, crime - a tough place to raise kids - not that plenty of other places aren't too. In fact, we hope to move to Klein or out 290 somewhere soon. As far away from the problems as possible while still being able to work here. Even there you aren't completely away. Was scouting out Klein area recently and spotted a dope dealer on Oak Glen at Steubner Airline. Thanks to the education Houston has given me, I can spot the bastards just driving by now.

On Colorado, I've been to Denver area on business a couple times and was favorably impressed.
