Paul, Sue Billat said [in the Vcall] that Applied has over 20% of the business.
Now to your post. You said >All the others,IMO, would be a safe play for investing in the internet stocks.<

Please don't call them internet stocks.
That is no longer a positive. :)

On Qwest: I'm one of their newest customers and yesterday
send them e-mail about inaccuracies in listing my calls
on-line. That's probably what caused today's drop. <G>

Paul V.

If absolutely massive Insider Selling gives you pause, check the story in today's WSJ before investing in QWST.

If it doesn't bother you, then I would have no comments,
Ian.

Hi Paul.

OT OT OT re: QWST

I am a new poster here (been lurking at various threads for a long time).

I am just beginning to do some DD re: QWST myself (especially in light of yesterday's drop). In addition to the WSJ article, the NY Times has an article on QWST today (good background on some of the players involved). It seems to me that one should also look at Level 3 (LVLT) and Global Crossing (GBLX) if considering a long term investment in QWST.

If you are looking short term, based upon the recent drop, then I have no clue! There was some good discussion on the QWST thread yesterday.

Regards,

Filo
