Jules, This is available to everyone on the net.Go to thomsoninvest.net and just type in your stock or sector of choice and look at the charts. Today Pre trade Institutional Activity for tech was approximately 2MM shares,of that 950K were buy interest and 250k were firm price and size solicitations.On the sell side were about 600K shares with an additional 200K for sale with firm price and size. IDTC today had a PreMarket interest of 200K shares to buy at 9am and an additional 40K shares to buy at 9:20 am.But,it initally opened down! So, you have to take this with a grain of salt. I am sure you are aware of the many "head fakes" traders are responsible for. After the open there were 10 new interests during the day. 6 to sell about 25k each and 1 at noon to buy 40k and remaning 3 to buy about 20k shares in afternoon. These indications on IDT today were just that indications.Unlike yesterday there were no Super Indications which showed firm price and size. The normal indications are considered "feelers" by MM's to guage the Market. The stock was down slightly which I believe this service has validated.It was by no way as bad on the sell side as yesterday when the stock was down over $1. Plug in Xoma today, which I own.Today it went to a new 52 week high.I believe the chart clearly shows how overwhelmingly positive the buy interest was as 3 or 4 large 200K share interests were indicated and only one tiny sell interest was indicated.One of those 200k interests was a premaket in response to an upgrade to "buy" by Sutro and CO.
