<Best daytrading book?>

Plenty of great ones... I'd nominate Jeff Cooper's Hit & Run books, David Nassar's, Barry Rudd,... and I agree with Eric, "Reminisces of a Stock Operator" as the all-time classic.

Tom:

I have yet to find a great book about daytrading. I used to read daytrading books and think they were excellent, until I tried using some of the ideas in the book and found that none of them worked. I think the biggest problem with daytrading books in that with rule changes, etc, they become outdated extremely quickly. That is why I prefer investing books that are geared more towards the characteristics of excellent traders. In addition to "Reminiscences of a Stock Operator", two other books that I would highly recommend are "Market Wizards" and "New Market Wizards". Each book is a compilation of interviews of about 8-10 extremely successful traders.

Tom,

I agree with Eric's list. To which I might add:

'The Education of a Speculator' by Victor Niederhoffer. Not a 'How To' book, but a glimpse inside his very intelligent, mad head. Even though he did wipe out not too long ago.

'Sun Tzu's Art of War for Traders and Investors' by Dean Lundell. Good to keep somewhere nearby to pick up from time to time.

'How Investors Can Make Money using Mass Psychology' by James Dines. Gets my vote for the next "Reminiscences......". Read it, visit a Gamblers Anonymous meeting and you'll be all sorted out.

Good luck,
Bond
