Good morning Kevin. Retired with a 1 year old child? You did better in your investments than I did. My second retirement started at age 59.

About my hours. This morning I got up at 6 to look for the WSJ. It was not here yet so I turned on the TV, had my cup of coffee and then retrieved the daily newspaper. I went back to bed for another hour and then got up again around 8:30 and joy, the WSJ had arrived. It was unusually late. I have been keeping better hours lately but just coming back from a mini vacation, I tried to catch up with some reading on the net.

I don't think that those stocks we mentioned yesterday are risky. I thought we were pretty conservative. I heard Byron Wien of Morgan S. Dean Witter mention this morning that he likes Intel, Csco and WCOM. Even a general bear has its favorites. Here is an article about business executives. Something I mentioned yesterday about GVT and business:

QQQ. Look again. I think it contains EBAY. That's why I mentioned EBAY in my reply to your QQQ question. But don't worry. The queen of the internet analysts, Mary Meeker, is speaking fondly of EBAY. She even mentioned this morning that EBAY will have no more outages like what just happened. Ouch. That's what I call sticking your neck out. BTW, AOL WAS a good buy early this morning for the long haul. It did not go down before I was ready to buy and I really have enough. When you own quite a few shares it hurts when the stock gets hit.

Have you checked WGAT out? There seems to be some momentum building. Every day there is some good news for this company. And all the stocks we mentioned yesterday are up nicely today.

EMC is on the move again. I heard the CEO saying last night that they expect to do well. HWP stuff is evidently not hurting. Their end users are still going with EMC. I would like to pick it up but some of my internets have dropped quite heavy and left me a bit strapped for new purchases. I am lucky I got out alive in this latest internet and tech wreck. But Csco, LU and WCOM are a good way to play the internet. WCOM through UUNET. UUNET is an important part of the net. Collects nice fees. I send this post away but will add the latest news on WGAT. I just want to make sure that I don't mess up and lose this post. It's too long to start over. gg. BTW. I am not recommending WGAT. It just looked interesting enough for me to buy it in the high 30's. But like everything else, you just never know for sure.

But Intel should def. be on your watch list.

Sonny

Here is this WGAT article.

BTW. We all should have kept Intel and Msft and not worried about anything else. None of us would worry about the net and our stocks now. gg.
