My thoughts exactly Nandu. Hypocrisy is alive and well in all nations and America and Canada are no exception. Although I believe Canada is not as bad as America is in many respects such as racial equality.

<<4) I really don't understand how an objective thinker can believe, at the same time, that female foeticide ought to be outlawed and that all women should have a choice to abort her pregnancy right up till delivery.>>

What they want to tell us is that it is ok to abort all fetuses but not selectively. What's the difference? A dead baby is a dead baby male or female.

I find there are so many hypocrisies in American thinking. But trying to convince an American that their thinking is screwed up is as hard as trying to convince an old woman from an Indian village that gender selection through abortion is wrong.

Nothing against our friend Steve, he seems like a very kind fellow. But he is a good example of how Americans are brainwashed through the use of popular media.

The media is a tool to convince Americans that war is ok as long as you win. When other countries killing innocent people is classified as murder, Americans killing innocent people is called "collateral damage". What the hell is that? Lives are not collateral like something you use to get a loan. Lives are much more valuable and it is an insult to God, our maker, to refer to killing of innocent people as "collateral damage". Call a spade a spade. A killing is a killing no matter who does it.

It is not politically correct to go up against popular thinking in America. Americans are in just as much trouble if not more than Indians are because of this brainwashing by the media and the underlying threat that one will be treated very harshly if they go against popular opinion.

Ok no more on this topic for me. I feel better now.<ggg>
