You're absolutely right. It had been fast because no one is trading. As more people get back into the market, it will slow down. Contrary to what arrogant Joe kennan (SP??) on CNBC may have you believe, everyone, including the shorts have a major stake in this market going up. The shorts have equities to short because people are buying these equities and driving the prices up. CNBC ad revenues goes up because people are watching their investments. The brokerage houses are growing because people are trading on margins plus all they make on the stock. Even the brokers who are saying, put a "fork in the internet stocks" will not be saying that if this goes on much longer. Remember the previous crash and how many brokers lost their jobs?
