First of all, let me say I trade based on ta, but I look closely at fundamentals. I will buy overvalued stocks if TA looks good.
I disagree with a basic premise that the nets are properly valued. They were way overbought before and are still overbought. Technically, do u mean technical analysis?-If u mean TA, then I would say there is not a technical buy signal except stochoastics which have shown this for a couple weeks. Sell signals are strong, ta wise.

Fundamentally, the net is extreme high growth. However, PEs are way too far ahead of that growth. AOL is looking at roughly 40% annual growth(generous and assuming no slowdown-big assumption), say roughly double MSFT. AOL's pe is over 4x that of MSFT. You can do the math from there.

Robert, nice recent post on the inets, moving averages, interest rates, and selling when you have huge gains (for fundamental reasons).

Nice to see thoughtful posts here from someone who obviously has his emotions well under control.
