Sarmad, It's not clear to me that the CPI worries are gone. Early on, someone was buying bonds. Lately, however, someone has been selling them with gusto. Whiplash all over it seems to me. However, my feeling from reading reports about general bond market feelings is that if CPI is benign there is almost definitely be a rally, rate hike or not. -BGR.

Sarmad, I agree that this rally would be sustained if not for the cpi and AG. Of course, that is what AG wants, right? Some slowing of the markets and economic activity caused by increased fears. I bought some inkt back this am at 87. I mean this very sincerely for anyone who is listening: sentiment toward these nets is damn close to as bad as it can be. I have NEVER seen the crowd be right when it is this certain of itself.It is also a good sign that Sam Citron showed up. He is a good bottom fisher. Yes, of course, I thought all these same things 1 week ago and have blown 3 months of "KISS sized" gains as a result of my error.
