Re: Metromedia Fiber(MNFX) and Bell Atlantic's COs Hi Mike, I can see a day coming where there is going to be some kind of merger/parternering<G>/purchase, etc. between BEL and MNFX. I believe you may not have factored into the strategy the fact that BEL, along with the other RBOCs, is continuously trying to reduce its 'signitory' workforce. (The CWA is the other signer on the union agreement.) Contracting to MFNX is an excellent way to move the upgrades away from force account. This agreement has to have some hidden agreements along these lines. Hmmm, I'm not sure about this. I believe this simply falls in line with the desire of upper management at BEL to become more of a 'virtual' corporation. JMO Best, Ry
