Scrumpy,

If the pattern in that chart holds true, then we could be looking at another 15-%-20% downside in the near-term on net stocks before we see any stabilization in the market. Also, although the chart doesn't show it, my guess is that if you extend the biotech index out another 3 years, you'll see a long, slow, steady decline... with continued intermittent pops. I expect that many of the net stocks (with a few exceptions) will follow that pattern as well.
