The biggest problem I had with her tenure was the fact that the Fibre Channel Association and Brocade shared the same public relations firm, Miller Shandwick at the time. If one understands anything about PR, this is a huge conflict of interest as it relates to the ongoing relationships with the media ( trade magazine editors and writers ). I was once on an Industry BOD and the PR firm that won the job happened to be the same firm my company had on retainer. The BOD selected the PR firm on the condition that they would resign our account. All that talk about "chinese walls" is absolute b.s...
