VSE SYMBOL: ISI June 21, 1999 ISIS Announces Hiring of Chief Technology Officer VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--International Sales Information Systems Inc. (VSE-ISI) announces that it has appointed Mr. Ivor Fergus M.Sc. as Chief Technology Officer of the company's newly formed subsidiary ISISSOFT (U.S.) Inc. Mr. Fergus' will be responsible for managing all aspects of technology including product development and strategic direction. He will be based in the company's new Long Island office and will report to Mr. Robert Jurik (President and CEO, see press release June 9 1999). Mr. Fergus has fourteen years experience in the information technology industry. Throughout the last two and a half years he has been President and co-founder of Fergus, Williams & Tall Inc. a systems consultancy specializing in data warehousing and decision support. During this time he also worked with Sapient Corporation (NASDAQ:SAPE market cap $2billion), a leading e-services consultancy, as a Systems Architect. While there he served as a mentor, providing technical leadership on projects from beginning to end. Working with the subsidiary, Studio Archetype, as technical lead, he provided web-based strategic solutions to clients. Prior to Sapient, Mr. Fergus worked with The Lande Group Inc. as Business Unit Director, Applications Development. During this time he managed the implementation of systems for, amongst others, Citibank, Private Banking Group, New York, NY and Sandler O'Neill & Partners. Prior to this position, he worked at MasterCard International Inc., New York, NY for seven years as Senior Systems Consultant, Global Information Services. During this time he designed and implemented various client/server-based systems. The systems he was involved in designing are responsible for collecting more than 75 percent of MasterCard's total revenue. Mr. Fergus also worked at Financial Services Corp. New York, NY as Project Manager, Asset Management. He is Technical Editor of Late Night ActiveX and co-authored the chapter on Microsoft's Distributed Component Object Model (DCOM). Mr. Fergus stated "Clearly, mobile computing and its ability to extend the customer relationship is one of the most exciting and watched sectors in the IT industry. We are in an enviable position to introduce a product to the US market that can significantly enhance CRM in new and unique ways. Our products will enable companies to take business intelligence directly to the point of customer contact, providing capabilities that are currently not available on the Web." ISIS is engaged in the deployment of software solutions for mobile workers.
