Don't most of the parent companies go south about a week prior to the IPO?

This sector is so similar to the y2k companies of a year or two ago. They ran big and then crashed. The few biggies changed and will survive and flourish, but most have become non-entities. The internet is here to stay and y2k isn't but the stock patterns of the smaller inets are amazingly similar IMO. A word to the wise. I bought a y2k company the other day at 2 1/2 that I sold last year at 27. I'm not going to mention the name because frankly it's a piece of crap and I am not interested in hyping it, but I am gambling on a buy out. Gambling is clearly the operative word. Good luck uys.

What's your source Manly (re: KLOC) I haven't seen a trading date announced. Saw a rumor post on the Backdoor thread but no link to news.
