(Nasdaq: GNET), a network of branded, technology- and community-driven Web sites, today announced the appointment of Thomas Camp as vice president of business development. Camp comes to Go2Net from the Boston-based law firm of Hutchins, Wheeler & Dittmar, where he represented Go2Net in several of its most significant business transactions, ranging from the company's recent $300 million investment from Paul Allen and Vulcan Ventures, Inc. to its acquisitions of IQC (http://www.iqc.com), Haggle Online (http://www.haggle.com) and Virtual Avenue (http://www.virtualave.net/). "Tom Camp brings a proven wealth of business development expertise in the Internet sector and a deep understanding of Go2Net and our emerging business opportunities," said Russell C. Lee Company, Advent International, General Nutrition Companies, Inc., Mercury Computer Systems, Inc., and Concentra Managed Care, Inc.
