Today, COMPAQ announced the new ISP - already known to those of us on the underground cheerleader network - as well as the new Presario models. Although I have seen only the brief announcement, expect more with the Webcast at 10 am. If the info I had is correct, the ISP will be outsourced to WCOM. There should be tie-in with Alta Vista, too, to increase the "stickiness" of AV hits. Last week, new products were announced and there are more to come. Much progress is reported in Shopping.com, Alta Vista and zip.2. Sorry to interrupt the name-calling.
