OT to S.B., Sorry, it seems I misinterpreted the content of your post. There are far too many posts, most of which have far too little useful content (such as this one); so I quickly scan the headlines; select a small number of the more promising ones from names I recognize; then quickly scan through the contents of those. I guess if I'm going to respond to a post, I should re-read it and make certain I understand the context. I have no useful comments to make re your interpretation of how the Street may or may not react to earnings. Ian. What I was saying in my message was simply that's the way I see the Street responding to the recent events with the Fed, overseas markets recovering, etc.
