<<<Even apart from that, I realized how much better my life had gotten when I turned the sound off on CNBC.>>

QS, you have done the right thing <GGG>

Dear QuikSand: I have said this MANY TIMES before but find it necessary to say it again. CNBC as a financial channel is a JOKE. They are not interested in INVESTORS they are only interested in the titallating bullshit. You think for one minute they want Scott to talk about SUNW?? No, they just want to stoke up the fires between Scott and MSFT. Fortunately, I think Scott did not let them accomplish that. JDN

I've got to weigh-in on this one. Scott McNeily sounded downright stupid for suggesting that MSFT should have capital controls imposed on its investing activities. Scott sounded woefully uninformed. He needs to go to Finance 101. Quit whining and compete. And, no, I'm not a MSFT fan or shareholder but I do understand the beauty of capitalism - and capital controls aren't part of that beauty. They never were - even during the Standard Oil days.
