Digital Courier Technologies, Inc. Announces Equity Investment From Transaction Systems Architects, Inc.
Digital Courier Strengthens Alliance With Transaction Systems Architects, Inc.

PARK CITY, Utah, June 15 /PRNewswire/ -- Digital Courier Technologies, Inc. (Nasdaq: DCTI) announced today that it has received anequity investment of $6,500,000 from Transaction Systems Architects, Inc. (Nasdaq: TSAI). TSAI purchased 1,250,000 shares of Digital Courier common stock and warrants to purchase an additional 1,000,000 common shares with an exercise price of $5.20 per share, subject to adjustment. TSAI and Digital Courier have previously announced a strategic distribution alliance and a software licensing transaction.

Digital Courier has recently announced several major initiatives in the e-commerce payments processing arena. Recent announcements include the acquisitions of Access Services, Inc. and Secure-Bank.com, each successful payment processing companies with merchant and financial institution portfolios, as well as the pending acquisition of DataBank International, SKB. Digital Courier has also signed an agreement with ACI, a division of TSAI, to license its proven BASE 24(R) software and with ACI Worldwide to have its netClearing product marketed and distributed by ACI's worldwide sales and marketing team.

Digital Courier will file a registration statement with the Securities and Exchange Commission within 60 days covering all the shares of common stock sold to TSAI, as well as the shares of common stock underlying the warrants.
