thanks, some of the comments had me thinking that LGND was the culprit. I guess one way to cut thru the P.R. of those releases is to look at the Q reports and 10ks as to what is actually booked.

meanwhile, the targretin data certainly seems to add validity the depth and breadth of lgnd's pipeline. i swa an interesting piece on why agouron was bought out and that was the primary reason - to get access to that broad pipeline coming thru.
