Yep, dry as a bone,

Had a big fire near Homer. The bark beetle has infested many acres of timber and has left a lot of dead trees in it's path. Luckily they caught this one in time but one of these days we are going to have a big one. Due to the remoteness of a lot of that land, fire can get out of control in a hurry. We have a couple hundred acres of land in that area and get a little troubled when I hear "fire". We own an old fox farm with all the original buildings, etc. Back in the late 1800s and early 1900s, Scandinavians brought foxes to the area and raised them for their pelts which thickened due to the winter's cold weather. Somehow we ended up with the property and keep it in it's original state or as near as possible. Have several cabins with running water and all the facilities of home. No TV or electricity. Cellular phone works fine so we can keep contact with civilization. However, a fire would wipe out the whole thing. Lots of crab, shrimp, salmon, halibut and boating. Come on up and I'll give you a real treat.......
