Re: suburban sprawl

To the contrary!! I did not contribute to the suburban sprawl. It was the money-grubbing contractors and developers that have done all the damage. Once the trees have been uprooted and the house built, somebody is going to buy it, so I did. When I did, there were very few homes in proximity to mine and the natural trees had been spared. There were no apartment buildings, as is so common in a megalopolis, and the water in our creeks ran almost clear.

Have you ever been to Houston? If so, have you ever been to the outskirts? There is a vast difference between and most northeastern cities. There are no outskirts within 100 miles. I have been to NYC on many occaisions and have had residents of there visit me in this area. They can not believe the difference.

BTW, these stupid developers will have all the trees in a tract bulldozed down and, then, plant new ones after the houses are built. Go figure!!!
